This is a place for kids whose parents are going through separation and divorce or have already divorced. Kids can read about information of children and divorce, learn how to cope with the transition and understand that they are not alone with stories shared by other children of divorce around the world.
Kid’s Corner is also a place for parents and grandparents who would like to understand more about children of divorce – the needs and feelings of their children and how they can support and help.
Parents divorce for many different reasons. Still kids are hurt by the changes and loss. They might blame themselves and think if they had behaved better, caused less trouble at school, helped doing household chores then their parents would not have divorced. But kids do not cause divorce! There might be too many problems between their parents that even they have tried they could not fix them. Divorce is between the parents and end with parents. In fact, many kids have experienced intense parental fights before the divorce and some kids continue to face parental war after the divorce.
